LE BRISTOL PAU

A hotel steeped in history

A little history...

Formerly the residence of the chaplain of the Lycée Louis Barthou until 1903, this beautiful building steeped in history was transformed by a wealthy American owner into a hotel when Pau was an English resort town.

Since then, the hotel has remained the Hôtel Bristol: a friendly, family-run establishment, marked by memories handed down from generation to generation.
It is said that General de Gaulle stayed here in February 1959, and that a tunnel links the hotel to the church of Saint Louis de Gonzagues.
