LE BRISTOL PAU
Formerly the residence of the chaplain of the high school and the fathers of Betharram until 1903, this beautiful building steeped in history was transformed by a rich American owner into a hotel, at a time when Pau was an English holiday town.
Since that time, the hotel has remained the Hotel Bristol: a family home, friendly, marked by the memories left by generations.
It is said that General de Gaulle stayed there in February 1959 and that a tunnel would link the residence to the church of Saint Louis de Gonzagues.
The owners, seduced by the charms of this exceptional building, are happy to plunge you into the memories of this large traditional house emblematic of PAU and to tell you the history of this residence as well as the objects they have found for your curiosity and comfort.
