Christmas Party in Pau : Program and Facilities

Discover Pau as you have never seen it before until December 31st. Illuminated by the Christmas decorations, Pau is decorated with the magical atmosphere of the holidays, sublimated by its many thematic installations. You will even discover a great first: the big wheel.

Christmas Market: 

Rediscover a centuries-old tradition by visiting the Christmas market. A place not to be missed to celebrate the holiday season, surrounded by good local food and a multitude of artisanal products. With family or friends, the Christmas market of Pau is known for its festive and friendly atmosphere.

It is located on Place Clemenceau until December 31. While strolling along the 41 chalets that adorn the Aragon alleys, you are bound to find a souvenir to offer to your loved ones. You can also stop in one of the 9 gourmet chalets installed in the market for a tasty break. 

Are you coming with your family? Then the exhibition of santons in one of the chalets will be perfect for you. At the end of the visit of our beautiful Christmas market, it will finally be possible to enjoy the ice rink of 10m on 10m.

Ferris wheel:

The city of Pau has installed for the first time a Ferris wheel of 30 meters high, visible in the Aragon square. Admire the city from above in the middle of the day and enjoy its night lights. Open until December 9th, you can access it from 11am to 8:30pm from Sunday to Thursday and until 10pm from Friday to Saturday.

Christmas animations :

Each year, the city of Pau is transformed as the holidays approach with unique decorations, illuminations and animations. The streets are covered with lights and music, and the city is transformed into a fairy tale scene.

During the Christmas vacations, the city offers a wide range of activities for all ages. Horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating, Christmas shows, workshops and concerts are organized for the enjoyment of young and old. Children can participate in games, while adults can admire the Christmas lights and decorations.

Place Clemenceau

You will find the sledding hill, but also concerts on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Place Royale

Theemblematic Christmas village of Pau will be installed there. It represents on a small scale the city and its most representative places and buildings. The Christmas tree will also be present on the square.  

The streets of Pau

While strolling along the paved streets of Pau, you will certainly come across animations for young and old: creative workshops, a magician, a make-up stand or simply enjoy the presence of Santa Claus.
